L047 Magnum Pleco - 3-4" Unsexed Xingu. Remarks: L047 magnum plecos have a dark olive body with gold/yellow edges on their fins giving them a similar appearance to the gold nugget pleco, albeit without the spots. This bright coloration paired with their olive bodies has also given them their other common name, the mango pleco. These earthy tones make this species a great choice for those looking for a pleco with a subtle, natural beauty. L047 magnum plecos originate from the Xingu River, where the water is faster flowing and warmer than other areas of Brazil. They will appreciate rock structures and plenty of aeration, as that is what they are used to in the Rio Xingu. As they are used to being able to feed 24/7 in the wild, these plecos can be difficult to keep healthy in captivity especially when first imported as they frequen.
