Description
Flame Tetra. The Flame Tetra (Hyphessobrycon flammeus) is a vibrant and popular species of freshwater fish that originates from the slow-moving tributaries and flooded forests of South America. Known for their striking colouration and peaceful temperament, they are a popular choice for hobbyist aquarists looking to add a splash of colour to their tanks. One of the most attractive features of the Flame Tetra is its colouration. The body of the fish is a deep red-orange colour, while its fins are tipped with a striking shade of fiery red, hence the name Flame Tetra. The overall appearance of the fish is simply stunning, and they are sure to catch the eye of anyone who sees them. Flame Tetras are relatively small fish, growing up to 5 cm in length. They are best kept in groups of at least six, as they are. Source: Abyss Aquatics Tropical Fish. Please confirm current availability, size, price, delivery and collection terms with the seller.
