Description
White Fin Ornate Tetra. White Fin Ornate Tetra – Hyphessobrycon bentosi Care level: Easy Max Size: 5cm Diet: Omnivore Temp: 24-28°C PH: 5.5-7.5 Purchase size: 2-2.5cm The White Fin Ornate Tetra is a very pretty species from Brazil and Peru. They are one of the medium sized tetras, but nonetheless peaceful. As a shoaling species, they should be kept in a group of 6 or more specimens, but 10 or more will make this shy species feel more at ease. These fish are able to adapt to a wide range of conditions and be kept with most other species of community fish, The aquarium should be spacious with plenty of plants, tangles of drift wood and rocks for these fish to utilise and use for cover. The aquarium must be mature and should ideally be soft and acidic. These tetras will make an excellent addition to a peaceful South. Source: Shirley Aquatics Tropical Livestock.
