Apisto cacatuoides 'Double Red'. Source: Hobbyist Bred and Raised in Europe Estimated size at shipping: 1-2" Adult Size: around 2.5-3" Overview: NOTE: Groups of Apistogramma sometimes contain "sleeper males." These are males that don't mature until very late and present as females until then. Any females we send will be presenting as females, but there is always a slight chance that "she" could become a "he" with time. The males did some sparring when they first arrived, so some of their dorsal fins are nipped, but the damage is only cosmetic and the fins should regrow. Apistogramma are relatively peaceful, dwarf cichlids from South America known for their amazing colors. Several species have been line bred for even more color and have multiple color morphs. They are great centerpiece fish for smaller aquariums. Setup Con. Source: Dan's Fish stock list. Please confirm current availability, size, price, delivery and collection terms with the seller.
