Description
Protomelas sp. "Spilonotus Tanzania" - 1-2" Unsexed. Remarks : Protomelas sp. "Spilonotus Tanzania", sometimes called the Insignus Cichlid, is a beautiful, mid-water schooling cichlid from Malawi. Males have royal blue bodies, a thick white blaze in the tip of the dorsal fin lapets, and yellow pelvic and anal fins that bleeds into the belly of the fish. Treat them like other utaka , such as Copadichromis azureus , and give them plenty of space for swimming unobstructed. They prefer the upper water column and will appreciate other utaka to swim with.
