Description
Long Fin Snow White Bushynose. Source: Hobbyist Bred and Raised in Europe Estimated size at shipping: 2-3" Adult Size: around 4-5" Overview: White as the driven snow, except for the occasional dark blotch that all strains of Snow White Bushynose Plecos have, their flowing fins will become quite impressive as they mature. Plecos from the genus Ancistrus are great algae eaters and, unlike the Common Pleco, they don't grow huge. In addition, they are hardy, and easy to maintain. Some species such as the Starlight varieties are downright beautiful. Even the plain brown Bushynose species are unique looking with their bristly faces. Setup Considerations: Although they will come out during daytime feedings, all Ancistrus plecos are nocturnal and need places to hide during the daytime. They also come from environments with quit.
