Raccoon Tetra. Source: Aquarium Bred and Raised Estimated size at shipping: 0.5-1.5" Adult Size: around 1-1.5" Overview: This is the fish that got Dan back into tetras. Once they mature and color up, the males are absolutely stunning as they spar and dance. I don't know if this is the prettiest tetra in the entire world, but it is in the running for sure. Most of our current batch are small fish that are not yet showing their full color. Tetras are one of the most popular aquarium fish because their are just so many kinds that there is something for everyone. Their generally small size and peaceful nature make them easy aquarium inhabitants and many of them are strikingly colorful, making them pleasing to watch. Setup Considerations: The key to keeping almost all the tetras is to keep them in large group. Source: Dan's Fish stock list.
